2012年、日本とイスラエルの国交樹立60周年に当たり、テルアビブでもっとも刺激的なラジオ局／パーティ・クルー：TEDERとデザイン・チーム：RAFSODAが初来日！『TEDER TELAVIV TOKYO』と題され、イスラエルの最先端の音楽、アート、ファッション、デザイン、フードが21日間に渡り、日本で体験することができる。会場は、原宿のLAPAZとその2Fのギャラリー：CREME DE LA CRÈME。ここでは、『TEDER FM』によるイスラエル、日本、そしてスペシャル・ゲストによるライヴやトークショーを無料で閲覧でき、さらにイスラエル人クリエイターによる作品に触れあえる。もちろん伝統料理も味わうことができるので、是非会場に足を運んでそのバイヴを感じてほしい。

DJ JEFF BROWN
Jeff Brown
80 年代末からDJプレイを学び始めた、ブルックリン、ベッド・スタイに生まれ育ちのDJ/プロデューサー、Jeff Brown(ジェフ・ブラウン)。ニューヨークにクラブ/バーを経営する、家族同様に親しくしていた友人のサポートで、マンハッタンのダウンタウンでパー ティーを任されることになった。当時、まだジャズ、ファンク、ソウル、ディスコ、ヒップホップ、ハウスをアシッド・ジャズ/レア・グルーヴといったスタイ ルでジェフのようにミクスチャーなプレイする若手DJはいなかった。その頃ヴィレッジやソーホーではDJブースを設置したバーやラウンジ(Sticky Mike's Frog Bar, Canal Bar, Buddha Bar, Lot 61, Life...)が競ってオープンされ、70'sファンク/ソウルのブームとが重なり、ジェフは週7日オフも取らずDJプレイを続けていた。90年代半ば ニューヨークよりも、ジャズ/レアグルーブ・シーンが面白くなっていた東京に拠点を移したジェフは、UFO, S-Ken, Monday Michiru, Mondo Grossoといったアーティスト達のプロダクションを手がけるなど新たな試みを体験している。その2年後ニューヨークに戻り、J-Live, Smiff-n-wessinといった地元ブルックリンのアーティスト達をはじめ、Pete RockのSoul Brother #1 のプロデューサーとして多くのセッションを重ねてきた。そして現在も、DJ Spinna, Q-Tipらとマンハッタンやブルックリンのクールなブラック・クラウドが集まるパーティーをロックし続けている。
